In workshops, Meggin has this spontaneous empathy with the people who are there. We could all feel it.
Recommend this class? Absolutely! This conference helped me organize my program of research for the rest of the year.

Meggin, I felt your genuine commitment to be of service in helping to encourage and develop me as a writer.
Yes, I would recommend this class. I think it would be wonderful for anyone who is “stuck” and can’t get their research or writing moving. I can definitely see the value in repeating this class in the future.
I’ve told several people, and I planning on telling many more. In fact, part of the reason I signed up for the webinar was because I was planning to give a colloquium on writing productivity to the graduate students in our department. Since the workshop, I have integrated more strategies and realized that there were several types of obstacles that needed to be overcome to be more productive. Because I’ve finally realized this–and found strategies to deal with all of them–I’ve increased the audience for the talk dramatically.
Meggin is funny, candid, and insightful at the same time. She knows what she is talking about and she does not spare her words. She tells you how things work, and clearly guides you through the various hurdles that a writer can find on her way to getting her writing done. I have gone through these lectures once already and learned a lot. But I do expect that I will repeatedly come back to them many more times. Even if you know all the theory about writing and productivity, having Meggin on your side as a guide through this program can help you get started if you need some more cajoling and sup…
When asked why she took the class, Laura said “I have so much in my brain that I want to get out!”
I would like to say that I am starting to think of myself as a writer for the first time in many years.

I would recommend this class. Its a lively, engaging kick in the you-know-what. The class creates FUN around writing. Everyone needs that.
I feel like Meggin was talking directly to me and loved it!
